This individual will monitor and help influence advocacy issues that affect the Society’s members and their patients. Job responsibilities include: monitoring and analyzing state legislation and regulation; developing and maintaining issue-specific advocacy materials and assisting in the coordination of grassroots campaigns; developing programs to increase member awareness and participation in political action at the state level; writing member newsletter articles; responding to inquiries from members and outside organizations on state and federal legislative and regulatory issues.
Bachelor Degree in political science, public policy, health administration, or health related field.
Experience in health/medical association management a plus
