Member Services Center Representative

Basic Functions

Serves as the first point of entry to all incoming calls to ASPS Headquarters office. Responds to and fulfills member requests to register for ASPS/PSEF educational programs, purchase of products, and obtain basic membership information such as CME reports. Provides general information on activities noted, as well as other ASPS/PSEF programs and services.

Essential Duties

  1. Answer and disburse to appropriate departments incoming calls and correspondence from members, with emphasis on a courteous and professional approach as the first point of contact to the organization.
  2. Determines caller needs and recommends appropriate products and services (up-sell and cross-sell)
  3. Utilize contact log for all member comments and concerns.
  4. Responds to general inquiries regarding membership status, CME tracking, change of address.
  5. Accept and process product orders, meeting registration for members and staff from phone, mail, fax or web-based.
  6. Handle product returns with fulfillment vendors.
  7. Process appropriate invoices for payment including P.O.'s for refunds on products and registration cancellations.

Associates Degree preferred

Two-five years related experience
