I researched several plastic surgeons, and had several consultations; before I found my ASPS Member Surgeon was the best choice. I am now in my fourth week post-op and I’ll tell you I am looking terrific! My surgeon has done such a wonderful job on me. I am still swollen and also still have the drainage tube in. The tube is a bit of a nuisance, but I am living with it. Today I will see the doctor and hopefully he will remove the drainage tube, if not today then early next week. I can’t wait to live with my new figure! Good luck to all of you that are considering this surgery.

I live in a small community where we have 2 plastic surgeons to choose from. I consulted with both of them before making my decision. Both had very good reputations, but the ASPS Member Surgeon I chose spent much more time explaining the procedure to me and took the time to show me before and after photos of procedures done previously.

I had the surgery done for several reasons. I had two children which left me with a saggy area below my belly button; and I had a very ugly scar from when I had an appendectomy when I was nine. I'm not a large person but I had to where pants a size larger to fit comfortably around my middle.

I had liposuction just above my belly button and around my hip area. I also had a tummy tuck. I was in surgery at 7:30AM and back home by Noon. I'm currently 13 days post op and I feel great! I used pain medication for three days. The sutures were removed after eight days which made a big difference in how I felt. I'm already very satisfied with the results even though I still have some slight swelling. Every day I see or feel some improvement. I definitely recommend this surgery to anyone who is a candidate for it.

I had always wanted to have corrections made to my body so I would feel better about myself. My ASPS Member Surgeon was referred to me by my mom, who had heard wonderful things about him. Before entering his office, I was very apprehensive about even discussing all of the corrections I needed. However, after meeting and talking to the surgeon and his nurse, I felt at ease with my decision. I elected to have a breast lift and liposuction on my thighs. This surgery was the first surgery I’d ever had in my life. It was a very pleasant experience, and I am thrilled with the results. My surgeon continues to follow up on the scars on my breasts, and it is almost impossible to tell I had liposuction at all. I highly recommend my ASPS surgeon. Additionally, my best friend plans to use him in the very near future, as will I if I choose to have anymore corrections made.

My procedure done in Dec '04 was liposuction of my upper and lower abdomen, bilateral back, hips and flanks. The liposuction was done via Vaser technique and I have to say this was probably the best thing I could have done for myself. I'm 5'7 and weigh appx 139 lbs so I was normal weight for my height but I had large deposits of fat that were difficult to get rid of.

When I lose weight I tend to lose the weight in my chest area and did not want to jeopardize my augmentation results. I am about 4 months post op now and I'm loving this. I look at myself in the mirror and still can't believe that it's me that I'm looking at. I'm buying new clothes and fitting into size 4 pants. Size 6 for some. I have a very flattering figure. I did join a gym and I do alot of cycling and strength training equipment to maintain the figure I currently have.

I had liposuction of my upper & lower abs, flanks, inner thighs and back (including the area under my armpit). I workout often, but was never able to get rid of the stubborn belly fat or the area under the arm (aka "bra fat"). I finally decided it was the right time to have it removed. I found my doctor through ASPS and then did further research to see if he was right for me. I am very happy with him and his staff, they were very thorough and made sure all my questions were answered.

The procedure took about 3 hours, then moved to recovery for about an hour. I never felt any pain, just some soreness and some itchiness from the compression garments. I was able to get back to work after 4 days and back to the gym after 2 weeks. So far, 4 weeks after surgery, I'm pleased with the results. There are still scars from the incisions, but they are small, and I'm also still swollen, but my doctor says that it should go down with time. I'm excited to see my clothes fitting looser and I'm not that horrified at the thought of going bathing suit shopping!

It has only been three weeks and I am doing fantastic. I am still swollen, but the difference I see already is wonderful. The pain and discomfort is not that bad. I honestly thought it would be worse. I was off the morphine pump and other "hard medications" in four days. I have been taking tylenol only. I would do it again! I am so happy I tell every one about my new tummy! I cannot wait to see the final results! And my plastic surgeon was wonderful.

I had liposuction almost two yrs. ago. I had it on my inner and outer thighs, flanks, and stomach. I had wanted this procedure done for as long as I can remember. I had big saddle bags while the rest of me was small. I wanted to be proportioned. I found my plastic surgeon through one of my clients who had a procedure done by him. So I saved up my money ($7,300.00) and did it. He took out 13 pounds!!!! The recovery was rough. It was extremely painful, much more so than I was led to believe. But, I healed, and pain does go away.

So what do my thighs look like today? WELL......I have bad scar tissue on both legs. On the back of my legs and butt, my skin hangs. My knees are much bigger now, and I am not sure why. It’s as if all the fluid drained to them and stayed there???!! I have to say, my legs are thinner and my saddle bags are gone. But now I need my skin lifted and cut. I wonder if this is typical of liposuction results? I honestly thought my legs would look better.

I am very satisfied with all of my procedures. The most painful was the breast augmentation. Rhinoplasty was very smooth, as well as liposuction, though I do have some unevenness in my thigh area, which will be fixed free of charge. I notice on the internet I don't hear a lot about this happening, but my doctor did let me know it was not abnormal. It has only been 1 month since my surgeries and I still have some swelling and soreness. I am very happy with my overall experience. My doctor was wonderful and I found him through word of mouth (very good success stories). I would recommend him to anyone.

My doctor took care in evaluating and educating me on the procedures I was interested in during my consultation. Both before and after my surgery, Dr. Schwartz was fantastic. He has an unbelievable human approach and made a tough recovery so much easier.

My reasons for surgery basically stemmed from being unhappy with my profile (neck lift) and being unhappy with parts of my body that never seemed to improve, regardless of the amount or type of exercise and regardless of my diet. I am only 4 weeks out of surgery and have several areas on my neck and body that are still very numb. But I feel new sensations every day and see changes in my appearance all the time. I am extremely happy with my choice in surgeons and am extremely happy with my results- and I still have more improvement to come (as I am not completely healed)!

I would recommend my doctor to anyone interested in improving their appearance. He is such an amazingly talented surgeon and a genuine, caring, human being, unlike any I've met before.
