Williams was born with Treacher Collins syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by craniofacial deformities and underdeveloped ears, eyes and mouth. She has undergone 50 surgeries to close her tracheostomy and to reconstruct her eyes, ears, chin and cheeks.
