Chapter 1: Dedication: The evolution of plastic surgery.
Chapter 2: Art: Vision and dexterity are the central attributes of a plastic surgeon. Just as artists rely on their eyes and hands to guide them, plastic surgeons use their visualization and tacticle skills to shape and form new futures for their patients.
Chapter 3: Science: Plastic surgeons have been pioneers in the development of hundreds of innovative techniques, including tissue transfer; microvascular, craniofacial, and maxillofacial surgery; and liposuction.
Chapter 4: Cosmetic Surgery: Plastic surgeons perform a variety of cosmetic procedures to give their patients confidence.
Chapter 5: Reconstructive Surgery: Plastic surgeons perform a variety of reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction, burn treatments, facial reconstruction and surgery on birth defects.
Chapter 6: Commitment: Plastic surgeons work tirelessly to heal and transform the lives of many children in the U.S. and around the world who have no access to help for their conditions.
Chapter 7: ASPS Member Surgeons: ASPS advocates for patient safety and works in concert with the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation to support research and international service for plastic surgeons.
