An industry-supported satellite symposium is:

• An educational program, which may or may not be designated for Category 1 CME credit
• Planned and implemented by an organization external to the Society
• Neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Society
• Satellite symposia may be held in conjunction with the ASPS Clinical Symposia or Plastic Surgery 2008, but they are not part of the official program
