Support Plastic Surgery

The National Endowment For Plastic Surgery

"We restore and make whole those parts which nature or ill fortune have taken away, not so much to delight the eye but to buoy up the spirit of the afflicted."
- Gaspare Tagliacozzi, 1597

The National Endowment for Plastic Surgery was established to support research and development in the field of plastic surgery and specifically to fund research directed toward immediate issues facing the clinical practice of plastic surgery. The National Endowment will support research and fund programs directed toward defining the efficacy and safety of established plastic surgical procedures, and the early investigation of innovative technology in plastic surgery.

The National Endowment for Plastic Surgery represents a specialty-wide cooperative undertaking to assure the future of plastic surgery and continued progress in patient care. The National Endowment allows the specialty to be proactive in identifying opportunities and responding to the changing demands on the specialty.

The National Endowment for Plastic Surgery was established as a restricted fund within the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation. The National Endowment accepts contributions in support of research and education in plastic surgery. Contributions and pledges to the National Endowment for Plastic Surgery can be payable over a one- to three-year period. Gifts are accepted at any level. Gifts at the level of $1,000 or more are recognized with an Endowment lapel pin and donors at these levels are recognized in the National Endowment Annual Report.
