Over the last 36 months, Natalie Robinson lost more than 170 pounds, but struggled with her arms. She decided to have upper arm lift surgery, also known as brachioplasty. Since 2000, upper arm lift procedures are up 4,378%. In 2012, more than 15,000 women had the procedure.
In a survey conducted by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 31% of women polled said they would most like to have arms like First Lady Michelle Obama. ASPS statistics show that arm lift surgery has risen more than 4,000 percent since 2000, but the procedure, also known as a brachioplasty, is for a select group of people.
