Practice Philosophy

Dr. Ganske believes that a physician should "do no harm." No guarantees can be given for any procedures, but the key to a patient being happy with his or her results is to have realistic goals, to understand the risks, to have a caring honest physician who places the patient's health above all else. The aim of plastic surgery is to repair or maintain form and function after the process of disease or aging.

Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Ganske practices a broad range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He cares for children with birth defects, trauma victims, cancer patients seeking reconstruction and patients who desire a more youthful appearance. Dr. Ganske's philosophy is to do what is best for the patient. This requires understanding each patient's goals and discussing their treatment options with them. Some procedures are complicated and Dr. Ganske thinks that communication with the patient so that he or she fully understands what can be done and possible risks and complications is very important. Plastic surgery is a wonderful experience for so many people because it helps them to regain lost form and/or function. Cosmetic patients are a particularly happy group of patients. Wanting to appear one's best is a legitimate reason for surgery. Dr. Ganske thinks that a surgeon who is good in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery takes techniques and surgical skills from each to make the other better!

Dr. Ganske uses only fully accredited and professional surgical facilities. Patients can be assured that their procedures are in state-of-the-art surgical facilities.
