Dr. Thomas Lintner is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Atlanta who strives to provide comprehensive education for his patients prior to any procedure. Dr. Lintner works closely with his patients in order to recommend the treatment option that can ultimately meet their aesthetic goals with the best possible results. He also believes in complete and open honesty with all of his patients, and will tell his patients if he feels that a certain procedure is not necessary to achieve the look they desire. His strong dedication to patient satisfaction allows for those in his care to have beautiful, natural-looking results and a thorough knowledge of what they can expect throughout the treatment process. Prior to earning his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Lintner graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. After medical school, Dr. Lintner continued at Emory to complete residencies in both general and plastic surgery. He is currently part of the staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he is on the Credentialing Committees for both ER Services and Medical Staff. He has also served as their Chief of Plastic Surgery (2005).

During your initial consultation, Dr. Lintner will ask you about your goals and expectations. Once he has a clear idea of what you want to achieve, he will make appropriate recommendations, in order to make sure that you see optimal results. A strong believer in honesty, Dr. Lintner’s goal is to help you reach your personal aesthetic goals in the simplest way possible - he will never suggest excessive or unnecessary procedures. In fact, he prefers to steer patients away from “fad” procedures that are unreliable or potentially risky. Dr. Lintner also feels that patient education is extremely important, so he will be sure to answer any and all of your questions thoroughly. Having realistic expectations and a more detailed knowledge of what your surgery will involve is important to Dr. Lintner, so he also ensures that all of his patients receive detailed pre-operative and post-operative information for any procedure that they may elect to undergo. He is readily available to all of his patients at all times - he provides his patients with his personal cell phone number for any questions or concerns that they may have before or after surgery.
