Andrew M. Schneider, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. ASPS members operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements in plastic surgery, including training in patient safety techniques. Meet Dr. Andrew Schneider
Dr. Schneider is a past president of the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons and serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at his Winston-Salem hospital network.
My goal is always to provide the best care for our patients. To do this requires a broad background in the art of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a commitment to the process of continuing education. By frequently evaluating new procedures and comparing them with “tried and true” ones, we are able to provide our patients with what is best for their particular problem or desire. You will not be talked into a procedure that is wrong or dangerous for you.
Each patient is treated as the unique person he or she is, and communication between the patient and physician is paramount. Our motto says it all: "Your Decision, Our Experience."
Your Consultation
When you come in for a consultation, I will take the time to meet with you and find out excatly what you want to accomplish. You will meet our staff of experienced nurses also. You will not be talked into a procedure that is not right for you. By the time you leave we will have determined just what is right for you.
Facilities
Our cosmetic surgery is performed at the Plastic Surgery Center of North Carolina, our own state-of-the-art facility where safety, privacy, and patient comfort are priorities.

I am a confident and successful business woman, however I have always been self conscience of my large breasts. Dr. Schneider put me at ease immediately with is genuine concern for my well-being and sensitivity to my concerns. My breast reduction was just 2 weeks ago. Our goal was to go from an H cup to a C cup. Dr. Schneider had to remove 2 lbs. from each breast to achieve that goal. My life has changed! For the first time in my 63 years, I feel like a woman!
