Dr. Valauri is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a past president of the NY Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a member of some 20 professional societies, including the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is Attending Surgeon at several New York hospitals, including New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, and Lennox Hill. He also teaches cosmetic surgery to plastic surgery residents at these hospitals.
