Edward Pechter, MD, was the first full-time plastic surgeon in California's Santa Clarita Valley and has been practicing at the same location in Valencia for 25 years.  Most of his more than 10,000 patients are from the Los Angeles area but many come from as far as San Francisco to the north, Las Vegas to the east, and San Diego to the south, as well as several other states and countries.

Dr. Pechter is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He is an assistant clinical professor of plastic surgery at UCLA and in 2005 was honored with the UCLA Plastic Surgery Clinical Faculty Teaching Award for Excellence in Resident Education.

Breast Surgery including augmentation (with saline and silicone implants), mastopexy (lift), and reduction.  Dr. Pechter is the originator of the "Helium Balloon" mastopexy.


Facial Surgery including facelift, blepharoplasty (eyelids), corner mouth lift, and otoplasty (ears).  Dr. Pechter invented the "Morris Crisscross" stitch, an improved method for suturing incisions.
