Dr. Gregory H. Croll, is in private practice in Columbia, Mo.. Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1991, he graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1971 with an undergraduate degree in Zoology. Deferring medical school, Dr. Croll pursued fulfilling careers as an auctioneer, real estate agent, cook, and entrepreneur. In 1979, medical school beckoned. In May 1983 Dr. Croll graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School where he was elected to the honorary Alpha Omega Alpha Society. Beginning his General/Plastic Surgery residency with the University of Missouri-Columbia, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, he finished in June, 1989 after which Dr. Croll was appointed Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at UMCHC and later, Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital. After a gratifying academic career, Dr. Croll entered private practice in Columbia, Mo. September 1996.

Dr. Croll believes that the consultation process is an opportunity to connect with patients, to learn about their goals and health history. By the end of the consultation, Dr. Croll will determine with the patient whether a procedure is right for them, and whether they feel comfortable and secure enough to make a decision.
Consultation appointments are with Dr. Croll and can last up to an hour or more. He want to spend as much time with our patients as needed in order to educate patients on their options, answering questions and discussing benefits and risks of surgery. Dr. Croll's goal is to have our patients feel that they have all the information needed to make an informed decision in a low pressure atmosphere.
Follow-up consultations are always welcome as we want to ensure our patients are comfortable and confident about their decision.
