Isaac Starker, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. ASPS members operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics and fulfill continuing medical education requirements in plastic surgery, including training in patient safety techniques. Meet Dr. Isaac Starker
Successful plastic surgery is a collaboration between patient and surgeon. My office carefully schedules patient appointments to ensure that I have ample time to meet with each person, to observe, examine and listen before performing surgery that meets the patients' wishes and achieves their desired result. As part of a typical consultation, I may also suggest non-surgical treatments that may include a skin care program, Botox Cosmetic, injectable fillers, laser or light based treatments and body contouring procedures like CoolSculpting and Ultherapy. My staff and I are dedicated to providing the highest level of personal attention to my patients.
Your Consultation
When I meet a patient for the first time I try to emphasize the importance of open communication. I want to know why a patient made their appointment, their concerns, and even their fears. I then explain the available options, both surgical and non-surgical. Ultimately any plan needs to have some flexibility to account for every patient’s individuality. Striving to meet every patient’s expectations, this comprehensive approach seeks to educate patients on plastic surgery as completely as possible. For some patients, Vectra 3-D Imaging has revolutionized the consultation, allowing us to go from simply trying to imagine surgical results to realistically simulating and previewing them. Whenever possible and practical, this imaging is part of my consultation process too.
