The decision to undergo cosmetic surgery is a highly personal one and can be frought with worry. Misconceptions, rumors and a lack of information are usually the cause. Your consultation is an opportunity to obtain all the information you need to make an informed decision about the surgery you are considering. We will meet, get to know one another, and discuss your desires, concerns and expectations. After a detailed examination, I will go over my findings, discuss the surgical and non-surgical alternatives, the risks and limitations, and answer all your questions. The use of videotapes, digital imaging and prior patient photographs will help enhance the educational process, so you can make the appropriate informed decisions. If you wish, we may be able to arrange for a prior patient to contact you about their experiences. You will have an opportunity to discuss the financial aspects of your choices, as well as payment options. Facilities
Many smaller procedures are carried out in our office under local anesthesia. Occasionally, larger procedures can be done there with an anesthesiologist present. Major procedures are carried out at either King's Daughters Medical Center or Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital or their surgery centers. This insures you of the highest possible standards of care.
