Practice Philosophy

I view plastic surgery as a very individual experience. There is no one "right" operation for everyone. I consider no procedure to be routine. The only thing I view as routine is my honesty and integrity. I try to treat each patient as if they were my own family member and make surgical recommendations with this always in mind.

Consultations

My practice focuses on treating the whole patient not just the "problem" that brings them to see me. I do not have a "one size fits all" approach to plastic surgery. The patient who seeks consultation for a rhinoplasty (nose job) does not want a nose that looks "done". Rather, I try to reconstruct the nose so that it fits naturally with the features of the rest of face. There is nothing more unattractive than a nose job that looks like a nose job.

Patients who come in seeking treatment for skin cancers are also advised about skin care. I do not just remove skin tumors and forget about the rest of the patient. Not every patient needs a face lift. There are many treatment options available to improve and refresh the skin. My practice tries to explain to patients how and why they have developed these problems and make recommendations on how to avoid new ones. Surgical rejuvenation of the face, including face lift and eyelid lift, are an integral part of this treatment, but not always the entire solution.

Facilities

We have two O.R.'s in our 2500 square foot office. Here we do small procedures using local anesthetics. Our office is part of the Holy Redeemer Ambulatory Surgery Center, so under our roof we are able to provide general anesthesia for outpatient plastic surgery.
