Practice Philosophy

Dr. Thomas Vecchione has practiced cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in San Diego since 1974. He maintains a state of the art office facility that enabled Dr. Vecchione to perform surgeries under both local and general anesthesia.

The office practice is primarily cosmetic including facelifts, nasal recontouring, liposuction, breast augmentation, wrinkle removal and body sculpture. Reconstructive surgery is primarily done in local hospitals and consults of pediatric congenital anomalies, along with surgical connecton of defects secondary to trauma or tumor removal.

Consultations

Patient evaluation for skin care as well as surgical correction of cosmetic defects of the head, neck, breast and body.

The nursing staff, doctor and office personnel are all motivated to make the patient feel comfortable in the initial contact and consultation. The staff will listen carefully to the wants and needs of the patient. A series of options will be presented through drawings, photographic and sketched results so that the patient will have a clear understanding of the possibilities.

There is, of course, no obligation and more than one visit may be necessary to arrive at a mutually satisfactory surgical plan.

Patient comfort and satisfaction with the results are our ultimate goal.

Facilities

The 3,000 square foot stand alone facility is completely equipped with a modern operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, which is AAAASF accredited. The waiting area, exam rooms and conference rooms are all fully equipped and comfortable. There is total privacy and a relaxing atmosphere.
