Profession: Stay-at-home Mother of Two
Procedures: Laser Skin Resurfacing, Scar Revision
Mary Ann is a stay-at-home mother of two young boys She wanted to rid herself of “unsightly” abdominal scars resulting from two C-sections (and several other surgeries), bumps under her eyes and “puffiness” that made her appear chronically fatigued and older than her age, she says.
“A friend referred me to a local ASPS Member Surgeon,” Mary Ann says. After first visiting the surgeon’s web site – where she verified that he is ABPS-certified – she called his office and arranged a consultation, which proved quite productive, she says.
“During our meeting, the surgeon seemed to understand exactly what I was trying to accomplish,” which gave her the confidence in him to agree to the scar revision and lower lid laser skin resurfacing surgery, Mary Ann says.
The procedures had the planned result, Mary Ann says. “My scars are barely visible now, and the puffiness around my eyes is gone and I no longer look tired. I’m very satisfied.”
