Management Services Organization Program Manager

This position is currently remote. Our headquarters is located in Arlington Heights, IL.

Basic Function

The Management Services Organization Program Manager is responsible for working with internal stakeholders to ensure that deadlines and timelines are met by setting priorities, goals and deadlines. Provides the implementation plan and supports client facing activities. Partners with the leaders of the Managed Organizations to conduct board meetings, provides updates to the ASPS Leadership team as appropriate. Partners with the Affiliate Relations team to establish new relationships and grow interactions with existing partners. Devises strategies to enhance and deepen partner engagement to meet the immediate and long-term goals of ASPS. Cultivates relationships with current and prospective partner representatives by maintaining a rigorous schedule of contacts. Identifies and establishes new partnerships by developing a portfolio of prospects and assertively cultivating and soliciting those prospects.

What You Will Do

  • Develops messaging that highlights the ASPS points of difference
  • Provides support to varied associations which may include a tailored bundle of offerings
  • Supports physician leaders in their day to day interactions to build and maintain strong relationships in the markets
  • Serves as the staff liaison to committees and managed organization member board of directors
  • Develops the agendas and minutes for all committees and board meetings
  • Primary point person for managed organizations annual meetings
  • Develops and manages organization budgets in conjunction with the ASPS Finance team
  • Partners with finance to measure the impact and outcomes of different bundled solutions
  • Collaborates with ASPS staff to develop, document and refine processes and procedures to ensure consistently high-quality project management
  • Manages and develops partnership relations through informal check-ins and formal debriefings. Works professionally and in a proactive manner with prospective and current clients to assess their needs, requirements and expectations.
  • Maintains the highest level of knowledge related to all Affiliate Organization services
  • Creates proper expectations with clients
  • Collaborates and contributes to team goals and successes
  • Acts in a professional manner and collaborate at all times, with physicians, stakeholders and team members
  • Organizes, plans and participates in both internal and external meetings, seminars, exhibits and training. Supports business team with client related business & marketing functions such as industry tradeshows, networking events and project support
  • Partners with ASPS Membership and Marketing teams to develop membership engagement, recruitment and marketing plans
  • Handles inquiries and follow up on them to establish a pipeline of potential new partners
  • Managing marketing collateral and booth assets for events
  • Consistently follow all internal policies and procedures
  • Evening conference calls and out of state travel as required (10%)

What You Will Need


Bachelor's degree


  • Five plus years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading a project
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Learn the business' offerings inside and out

  • Set appropriate client expectations
  • Experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite program with an emphasis on Excel
  • Hands-on graphic design and layout experience
  • Experienced in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to communicate well over the phone
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and successfully prioritize and problem solve

Patient Care Center
