Senior Manager, Governance and Compliance
Peggy Pissarreck is the senior governance and compliance manager for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The Plastic Surgery Foundation (The PSF). She is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, guidance and counsel to members and staff pertaining to the ASPS/PSF governance structure, member disciplinary process, leadership conflict of interest policies and procedures and ASPS/PSF Bylaws.
In her time at ASPS, Peggy has been involved with increasing member engagement, as evidenced by an 83% increase since 2013 in the number of members serving on one or more committees and a 93% increase in the number of committees. Currently, more than 1,000 members serve on 77 ASPS and PSF committees.
Before joining ASPS, Peggy worked as the associate director of the American Bar Association's Law Student Division where she directed their Competitions Program, which provided moot court and client skills training for more than 40,000 law student members across the U.S. and Canada. In collaboration with the Competitions Committee, comprised of 13 lawyers and law professors, she oversaw 37 regional and national law student competitions annually.
Peggy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Bloch School of Management. She is active with the Association Forum of Chicagoland, the American Society of Association Executives and the League of Women Voters, where she serves on the Board of her local League and co-chairs its Program Committee.
