Premier Clinical Education Focused on Practicality
Continuing the tradition of clinical programming excellence that is vital to your practice and patient safety, the 2019 symposium will feature late breaking news related to acellular dermal matrices (ADM) and gluteal fat grafting (BBL) safety along with recent procedural mandates. In addition, learn the most up to date information on breast augmentation markings, implant selection, location of the inframammary fold and many other pearls. Learn how to prevent recurrent capsular contracture to maximize outcomes and minimize complications and the importance of high resolution ultrasound to you and your patients. Review, discuss and debate challenging breast reconstruction cases and gain a broader understanding of breast implant illness (BIA-ALCL), current research findings and related litigation issues.
Discover how to implement an array of quick and easy practice management tips and learn how to effectively build a website photo gallery to engage prospective patients.
A full day of body contouring techniques and procedures will be highlighted to include essential arm lift and thigh lift approaches and how to refine the trunk in massive weight loss patients - all designed to help you plan and successfully execute for optimal patient outcomes. Experts will help you determine when and why the following liposuction techniques work best: SAL, PAL, UAL, VASER or LAL. As a result of the growing interest in genital surgery for men and women, an entire module will address the buried penis, lifting the mons and labiaplasty.
Complementary instructional courses complement general session programming for a unique educational offering designed to expand your knowledge and keep you on the cutting edge in the marketplace.
The 2019 symposium will be the final standalone meeting of its kind. In 2020, the Breast Surgery & Body Contouring Symposium program highlights will be incorporated into the new annual ASPS Spring Meeting. The longstanding BSBC symposium content will continue under that umbrella, but this is your last opportunity to participate in the symposium in its smaller, boutique meeting setting.
Also NEW this year is an optional Saturday afternoon Gender-Affirming Master Class. Maximize the educational value by adding this Master Class to your registration. Program Chair Dr. Loren Schechter, has assembled experts in this field to dive into the surgical management of gender dysphoria.
