The number of credits is commensurate with your attendance. Physicians who only attend on Saturday can claim a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Of which, 4.5 are applicable to patient safety.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Analyze emerging techniques and trends in plastic surgery and practice with improved patient safety awareness
- Identify effective pain management modalities, practice responsible prescribing of controlled substances, and implement diagnosis and management of addiction practices
- Incorporate into practice the latest scientific advances impacting plastic surgery for the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons® (ASPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The ASPS designates this live activity for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Of the 10 credits, 5.25 have been identified as programming applicable to patient safety.
