ASPS In-Service Examination

Updated yearly, the In-Service Examination provides the most current information on the core curriculum of plastic surgery. The exam offers Residents the opportunity for self-directed learning and review of the entire scope of plastic surgery. Relevant questions in basic science will be included in each of the four categories.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
The development of Maintenance of Certification is a professional response to the need for public accountability and transparency. Through MOC, physicians demonstrate that they can assess the quality of care they provide compared to peers and national benchmarks, and then apply the best evidence or consensus recommendations to improve that care.
