Patient Testimonials

Bellesoma Dr. Ver Halen === Instant Awesome!!! I had me procedure with VA about a month ago. I had done a lot of research before-hand, and had heard all of the hype about how new and improved this procedures was, compared to a regular breast lift. Let me tell you---- It is TRUE!!!! At about 2 weeks ago, the dressings started to come off.... and I could not be happier with the new me!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped to get me my pre-mommy body back!!!
You GET What You PAY For!!! I looked all over the Dallas area trying to find the best Dr. for my procedure, and THANK THE LORD I found Dr. Ver Halen! He and his staff are the absolute best! They may have been a little out of my price range to begin with, but I am so blessed I chose him for my Awake Laser Liposuction procedure. They offer everything, too... not just a place that only performs one procedure! I am hoping to go back in the future for maybe a breast lift! Their results are fantastic! Elaine, Dana, Shannon and Jennifer all made me feel like a member of the family!
Liposuction Best Bedside Manner of any Dr I have ever had! He Did exactly what I asked for and was aggressive in getting me where I wanted to be.

Removal/replace?

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. Based on your description, I think that it is likely unnecessary to repeat the mammogram and go straight to implant removal. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

Loose skin between breasts

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is difficult to say specifically what the flap of tissue is, although it is possible that you have a small area of symmastia. This happens if implants are placed too closely together, or if you have redundant skin between your breasts that is accentuated after your implants are placed. I suggest that you seek a face to face consultation with your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Good luck!

Revision for lipo

Liposuction

Member Response:

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It sounds as though you have a few choices. One is to modify your diet and exercise and lose the weight you have gained. The second is revision liposuction, as you have described. It is not necessary to have the fat re-injected to prevent it from coming back. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate you. Preoperative visualization with a surgical simulation program can help you make your decision. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. Good luck!

Hello and thank you for your question. Your situation is not unusual in patients who have had fat transfer to the buttocks, and then lose weight. In these instances, it is not unusual for patients to have a buttock implant placed. They are challenging, but not impossible. Good luck!

Dear Melanie, Hello and thank you for your question. Consultation costs really depend on your surgeon. Some surgeons do not charge a fee at all, while others charge up to $500. It is also somewhat influenced by where you live. This website has an excellent surgeon finder tool that will help you find a good match in your area. Good luck!

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

Dear Kitty, Hello and thank you for your excellent question. The extent and cost of the surgery really depends on the level of difficulty. For simple implant removal without capsulectomy, this can be performed in the office under local anesthesia. If the implant is ruptured, or if the capsule needs to be removed, this must be performed in under general anesthesia. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Hello and thank you for your excellent question. If the capsule was removed, then this should not be an issue any more for you. However, if you are concerned, it would be worth reviewing the pathology report to ensure that there were not ALCL associated findings. Good luck!
