Capsular Contracture??

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

It could be a capsular contracture. Your best to be seen in person by her surgeon to be properly evaluated. If it is a capsule contracture then usually the best treatment is to remove the implant change it to a new one and remove the capsule as much as possible and maybe add an ADM.

Mommy Makeover

Member Response:

A mommy makeover usually refers to a procedure that includes an abdominoplasty and some sort of breast surgery procedure. These are usually self-pay procedures. I do these all the time. Good luck.

Cortisone to fix lower eyelid malposition caused by scar; ectropion

Eyelid Surgery

Member Response:

A Cortisone injection at this point would not be very helpful. You likely are scarred down and need release of the soft tissue and possibly support to the lateral lid to improve the ectropion that you now are experiencing.

Jaw Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Member Response:

Fillers around the jawline can help accentuate the drawing. There’s very little care involved once the fillers are placed. There may be some bruising and some swelling, but after that there’s really nothing that you would need to do for it.

Breast and money

Breast Reduction

Member Response:

Yes it is very possible to have one breast reduced to match the other side. As for the cost it is very difficult to say without an exam in person.

Body Contouring

Member Response:

Age specifically is not a contraindication. I have treated many women in your age bracket for concerns similar to yours. Your overall medical condition is most important. If you are relatively healthy, you are likely able to undergo the procedures that you are interested in. You are best to be seen in person.

Capsular contracture

Breast Augmentation

Member Response:

The most current theory is that it is due to a biofilm created by bacteria. Think of it like a low level infection over time. Treatment usually requires implant exchange and capsule removal.

Breast reduction or lift?

Breast Reduction

Member Response:

Without seeing you in person, it is difficult to say which operation would be better. However if you have large breasts, a breast reduction usually includes a breast lift as part of the procedure.
