As one of the top universities in the US, MIT set the foundation for Dr. Mohan's future success. During his undergraduate studies, he developed an interest in plastic surgery and went on to complete a highly regarded research fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH). His contributions to the field were published in esteemed scientific journals such as Nature and Neuron.
After completing his studies at MIT, Dr. Mohan attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was awarded a merit scholarship. He excelled at the university, graduating in the top 5% of his class and being inducted into the esteemed national honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Mohan worked closely with the plastic surgery division at the University of Miami and made significant contributions to the field through numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading plastic surgery journals.
Dr. Mohan's academic achievements culminated in his acceptance into the sought-after integrated plastic surgery residency program at the combined Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland plastic surgery program.
