Consultations
During your initial consult, you will first meet with Dr. Hekimian for a discussion about your interests and your general medical history. A general discussion about the procedures in which you express interest is then held. We discuss safety potential complications. We discuss the recovery period. Any questions you may have are answered. You are more than welcome to have a friend, spouse, significant other or relative accompany you and are in fact encouraged to do so.

This is followed by focused physical examination. Once this is completed, a discussion is held about you specifically, about what can and cannot be done for you. Details are reviewed to your satisfaction. If breast augmentation is requested. you have fitting to try on different size implants and get an idea of the size you want; this is done with an experienced staff member.

Once this is complete, you meet with our scheduler who reviews prices with you as well as availability of OR time. You are not pressured to make a decision at this time but are welcome to schedule if you so desire.

For those seriously contemplating surgery, a second complimentary consult is offered to review the procedures and answer any new questions you may have. This is particularly recommended if your surgery is several weeks after your first consult. A second fitting for breast augmentation patients is always encouraged to assure you have chosen the size you truly want.
