Meet Dr. Kent Hasen
Dr. Kent V. Hasen, M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience and the founder of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery & Med Spa of Naples, established in 2002. Known for being candid, informative, and genuinely supportive, he helps patients across Naples, Fort Myers, and Bonita Springs feel confident in their decisions and comfortable throughout the process—whether they’re pursuing facial rejuvenation or body and breast enhancement, with particular focus on facelift, neck lift, and breast augmentation.
Trained at Cornell University Medical College and Northwestern University, with fellowship training in aesthetic surgery, Dr. Hasen is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and served as Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at NCH Healthcare System (2018–2022). He’s also recognized for bringing advanced options to the region, including early adoption of technologies like CoolSculpting® Elite, as well as specialized solutions such as GalaFLEX™ support in select secondary breast procedures and SmartGraft® hair restoration. Your Consultation
Your consultation with Dr. Hasen takes place in a comfortable, private setting where you can openly discuss your goals and concerns. He provides thorough, honest answers and believes that great results start with clear communication between patient and surgeon. During your visit, we’ll review your surgical options in detail, including the risks and benefits, and may share relevant case studies and before-and-after photographs. We encourage questions, and if you’d like, we can arrange for you to speak with previous patients who have undergone the same procedure—so you feel fully informed and confident in your decisions. To save time, please download and complete our registration forms from our website before your appointment. Plan to spend about 1½ hours with us; our entire team looks forward to making your experience both pleasant and productive.
Facilities
For your comfort and safety, all operative procedures are performed in our fully accredited, private in-office surgical suite. Anesthesia is overseen by board-certified nurse anesthetists who specialize in plastic surgery anesthesia. Most patients return home the same day, while more extensive procedures may include an overnight stay in our post-surgical recovery suite with RN supervision. Dr. Hasen is available to his patients by cell phone at all times, and you’ll return to the office for several post-operative visits so we can closely monitor your progress, address questions, and help ensure a smooth, uneventful recovery.

Body contouring procedures like a tummy tuck and arm lift are commonly done together as long as the planned surgery would not be too long. So if it was a typical tummy tuck and arm lift, the time under anesthesia would not be too long and they should be able to be done together. It is best to consult with a ASPS board certified Plastic surgeon who does a lot of body contouring surgery to find out if you are in fact a good candidate for these procedures.

Again, I agree with the previous plastic surgeon's assessment that elective surgery should not extend too long in one setting. The procedures you mention may or may not take too long to perform in a single setting based on the complexity of each procedure as Dr. Kusuma points out. I think your best bet is to make an appointment for a consultation with a ASPS plastic surgeon to go over your desires and allow the surgeon to discuss with you the options for treatment and timing.
