Meet Dr. Oren Lerman

Having trained at some of the most prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the country Dr. Lerman feels strongly that cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery go hand in hand. One cannot excel in either without being adept at both. Dr. Lerman is an Attending Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the NYU School of Medicine. His interests include Cosmetic Surgery of the face and body as well as reconstructive surgery of the breast. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and offers his patients the most advanced techniques in cosmetic facial rejuvenation such as Facelift, Necklift, Rhinoplasty, Blepheroplasty (eyelid surgery) and non-invasive techniques such as Laser Resufacing, Chemical Peels, and Injectables such as Botox® and Juvaderm®. He also offers the latest body contouring techniques such as circumferential tummy tuck, fat injection (buttock augmentation), ultrasound assisted Vaser® liposuction,  and form stable (gummy bear) implant breast augmentation.

Dr. Lerman completed an extra clinical fellowship in microvascular surgery at The University of Pennsylvania in order to offer his patients the most advanced forms of Breast Reconstruction including: nipple areola sparing mastectomy reconstruction, autologous tissue (natural -without implants) reconstruction, single stage implant reconstruction, form stable (gummy bear) implant reconstruction and all types of perforator flap breast reconstruction such as DIEP, GAP, PAP, TUG, and TAP flaps. Dr. Lerman brings these advanced perforator flaps (DIEP, TUG, PAP, TAP, GAP) to the Institue for Comprehensive Breast Care at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. 

Since 2001, He has authored 15 original articles and over 25 abstracts and has presented at numerous scientific conferences. He routinely teaches residents and fellows rotating from Cornell, Columbia, and NYU medical center at Lenox Hill Hosptial and Manahattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH).

if a sinus infection causes my nose to swell, can that impact the final result?
