"This cause is a natural combination of our ASPS member surgeons' unique talents and expertise, combined with our strong humanitarian desire to help those who are less fortunate."

Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation provides no-cost medical services to kids with physical deformities caused by birth defects, injury, abuse or disease through surgical weekends and clinics. Medical services are donated by doctors, clinicians, and other medical professionals.

Teams of more than 500 medical volunteers provide more than $2.5 million in donated medical care annually. The surgical gifts provided by the Fresh Start Caring for Kids Foundation gives children a new opportunity for increased self-esteem, happiness, confidence, acceptance and a better quality of life.
