Dr. Rachel A. Ruotolo is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC, the largest and longest running private academic plastic surgery practice in North America. Dr. Ruotolo is known for her expertise and special interest in pediatric craniofacial plastic surgery. She is experienced in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including otoplasty (ear surgery), cleft lip and palate conditions, cranioplasty, orbital fractures, and facial trauma in both children and adults.Rachel A. Ruotolo, MD participates in medical missions across the globe to treat children and adults with limited access to medical care and is on the board of Child Abuse Prevention Services, a non-profit organization in Long Island dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. She has been honored with several awards, including the Distinguished Service to Children Award and the highly recognized Healthcare Hero Award. Dr. Ruotolo has had her research published in a number of esteemed medical journals and publications. She is a member of professional organizations such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association and the Nassau County Medical Society.
