Haritha B. Veeramachaneni, MD, is an ASPS Member plastic surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery® and trained specifically in plastic surgery. Meet Dr. Haritha Veeramachaneni
Dr. Haritha B. Veeramachaneni (Dr. Veera) is a Los Angeles trained, board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Veeramachaneni received her undergraduate degree in biology from Duke University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine on a prestigious four-year, full tuition, merit-based Canby Robinson Society Scholarship. Dr. Veeramachaneni completed her Residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She then completed an internationally renowned fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the C.M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Veeramachaneni performs a wide range of cosmetic plastic surgical procedures including breast augmentation, breast lift, abdominoplasty, liposuction, fat transfer, and eye rejuvenation. She also specializes in complex hand and wrist injuries, nerve repair, and treatment of arthritis and nerve compressions. Dr. Veeramachaneni is also well versed in reconstructive surgery, with an interest and passion for breast reconstruction. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Veeramachaneni has volunteered extensively with Operation Smile to help raise money to provide free operations to children with craniofacial deformities. While in medical school, she traveled on a craniofacial mission to Qujing, China, assisting in patient screenings and surgical operations. She was one of several hundred medical school applicants chosen for this unique mission.
