Apex Surgical Facility is accredited by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Centers). This is a voluntary accreditation that holds our staff and surgical equipment to the highest standards – ensuring our patients’ safety in the OR as well as allowing us to provide superior surgical outcomes. Apex is also a class-C operating room. This means we are equipped for major surgical procedures that require general or regional block anesthesia and support of vital bodily functions. All equipment is tested and serviced on a strict schedule. A hospital-grade generator supplies uninterrupted power to the facility in the case of a power failure. I have been searching a couple years for the right surgeon regarding body contouring. After my consultation with Dr. Baker, I literally walked to the reception desk and booked my surgery with him. Dr. Baker and his team exceeded my expectations not only with my body’s physical results but the care and comfort they provided during the day of surgery! Dr Baker is an amazing surgeon! When I called to schedule a consultation with him after having seen him in the past, the staff told me that he was no longer with Grossman plastic surgery. I asked where he went, and they said “we don’t know.” Fortunately a quick Google search led me to the Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Golden Colorado which is where he is now. Lovely facility - much friendlier staff than at Grossman. Glad I found him!!
Dr. Baker’s integrity is what drew me to him as the surgeon for my breast augmentation. When I initially met with him, he worked with me to make sure that my vision complemented my body type and build. I was impressed with his presence and patience as my partner and I asked questions. The outcome of my augmentation is exactly what we discussed, and the work is impeccable. As I am healing, I can tell that my scars will be nearly invisible and my results look better by the day. I just had a breast augmentation with Dr. Baker. My experience was beyond amazing. During my consultation he educated me on different types of implants and which ones he would chose for me to give me natural results. He was very honest and did not pressure me into doing a big size. I was very hesitant that my results would look unnatural, he assured me that he would never use a big size implant on me because it would make me look disproportionate. I decided to book my surgery with him because I was confident in his skills and aesthetic taste. Everything went very smoothly from scheduling the surgery to the recovery. The whole office was very supportive and was with me every step of the way. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Baker. He is an amazing surgeon and I will be referring all of my friends over to him. Thanks Dr. Baker!
Dr. Baker did my breast reduction in September. He was very attentive to my concerns & explained the whole procedure for me. The results were amazing. He is truly talented. I'm ecstatic with my new size & feel like I finally have a proportionate body.
Hands down best doctor ever! I've been seeing him for reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy. Has a wonderful bedside manor! Absolutely 100% would recommend him!

I had breast implants taken out, I went to see five different well known plastic surgeons in the Denver area and it was ONLY the specialty of Dr Baker who is THE true and only breast reconstruction and specialty surgeon in the area. I could go into much detail about the opinions I had from many of the prominent surgeons. I would have had to go through a lift or put back in inplants which I did not want to do...only Dr Baker knew how to give me back natural breasts and he did it with fat transfer that all the other docs said couldn't be done on my small atheletic frame...said I didn't have enough fat. Dr Baker is a stand alone class for knowing what he is doing with breast cases that are not the norm. I WILL say the surgery was excruciating painful with my small frame and he having to harvest any fat he could find in various places. Anyway, I was also able to avoid a lift, extra costs and horrible scars that other dr. (Zweibel, for one) said that I must have. Not true. And another so called fat transfer breast guy (Millard) who advertises all over the internet...couldn't make the fat transfer work and referred me to Baker. The staff with scheduling, etc wasn't the greatest and that end took some work...but Dr. Baker is a genius with breast work.
Dr Mathew Baker is an amazing doctor. I am 72 and I was very concerned about having surgery. Dr Baker encouraged me, explained my surgery in great detail. The surgery was an extensive procedure and his skill as a doctor is evident in my success. He’s informative, positive and kind.
