We opened our own surgical facility in December 2010. My partners and I wanted to be able to provide our cosmetic plastic surgery patients with access to state-of-the-art equipment and a highly-trained surgical staff.
Apex Surgical Facility is accredited by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Centers). This is a voluntary accreditation that holds our staff and surgical equipment to the highest standards – ensuring our patients’ safety in the OR as well as allowing us to provide superior surgical outcomes. Apex is also a class-C operating room. This means we are equipped for major surgical procedures that require general or regional block anesthesia and support of vital bodily functions. All equipment is tested and serviced on a strict schedule. A hospital-grade generator supplies uninterrupted power to the facility in the case of a power failure. Patient safety is at the core of everything that we do.
Our surgical facility is solely dedicated to cosmetic surgery, and all staff members have years of experience in supporting the unique needs of aesthetic patients. We understand that maintaining your privacy is of the utmost importance. Once you are checked in for surgery, you may wait in our cozy, private surgical lounge. When you exit the building after your procedure is complete, you will leave by way of a private exit.

Dr. Vath is incredible! I had a mini-facelift/lower facelift 2 months ago and the results are amazing. Dr. Vath's surgical artistry and skill along with his patient manner are the best. I felt old and ugly, but after recovering from my surgery, I feel young, pretty and refreshed. The recovery was quick. The swelling went down in my face after several days and there was only slight bruising on the sides of my neck that was easily concealed. I couldn't wait to show my new refreshed look after a week, but I did take it easy for a couple of weeks as I didn't want to do anything that would hinder my healing process. The entire staff that worked with Dr. Vath was extremely skilled and caring. Thank you Dr Vath and staff.
I am on the early side for a facelift, (age 47 with pretty good skin tone still) but I had the beginning of jowling and it bothered me a lot. I could tell he was hesitant and wanted to make extra sure I didn't have unrealistic expectations and would be ok with going through the procedure for only modest change. But to me, any signs of jowling really aged me and I thought why not enjoy my facelift for as many years as I can, instead of waiting years and living with something I didn't like. I really respect the fact that he vetted me a bit and didn't just look forward to cashing my check. I thought the whole experience was terrific and this practice in general is run extremely well. I always got very prompt responses to all of my inquiries from the patient counselors and nurses. Best of all, my results are just what I wanted, very natural, and I can now enjoy many jowl-free years ahead of me.
Overall, Dr. Vath and his staff made me feel comfortable with them. I was not nervous on the day of surgery and I was never nervous to take off my clothes in front of them. They did not look at me like I was ugly, they looked at me like a person who wanted to be comfortable in their own skin and they helped me make that happen. I would recommend him a million times over. I will never go anywhere else, as I am sure I will have surgery again for something else I want fixed.
I loved Dr. Vath! I had a breast reduction done and he was the second doctor that I had consulted. He got me from a 28H to a 32D (22 yo at time of surgery) and my scars healed very well without needing drainage tubes like the other surgeon wanted. I felt really comfortable with him especially since it was one of my lady parts that was getting operated on. Although I have a longer scar than most because of how much he had to take off, it healed well and I honestly don’t mind it now. The office is very welcoming and I felt extremely comfortable pre-op, during surgery and post-op. I don’t have back or neck pain anymore! I feel so much more confident in my body and although I have a lot of work to do on my self-love and body image, I know I’m heading towards the right direction because of this surgery.
