Plastic surgeons may not have a crystal ball. Still, they work with so many patients throughout the year that many surgeons get an innate feeling for which procedures are popular, which are declining and which buzzworthy procedures are poised to take off.
"A breast lift is really about moving the glandular tissue up, so the tissue that's kind of hanging over the fold of the breast, and sometimes, but not always, the nipple position as well. Putting an implant in is gonna fill out some of the upper space of the chest, but it's not gonna lift the lower tissue at all. It's just gonna fill the upper pole."
