With nearly 25 years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Armen Vartany has earned a reputation for surgical excellence and compassionate care. Based in Burbank, California, Dr. Vartany serves a diverse patient population from Los Angeles, Glendale, Encino, Tarzana, and surrounding communities. He is internationally recognized for his specialization in rhinoplasty, having performed more than 3,000 procedures to date.

A double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Vartany is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Originally from Boston, MA, Dr. Vartany earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Tufts University. He then relocated to California, where he completed a rigorous 5-year general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Vartany received his formal training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Irvine, followed by a prestigious fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at UCSF, where he refined the precision techniques that now define his work—particularly in rhinoplasty.

In 2013, Dr. Vartany opened his own state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center, where he performs a full range of cosmetic procedures with support from a highly trained team of anesthesiologists and surgical nurses. He also holds hospital privileges at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank. Dr. Vartany remains deeply committed to continuing education and innovation, regularly attending national and international surgical conferences and contributing to the field through peer-reviewed publications.
