Jonathan C. Amspacher, MD

I have the honor of having served patients in the Midwest for over a decade. I have been blessed and built up one of the busier practices in the Midwest following the "Golden Rule" and trying very hard to treat patients like I would want me or my family to be treated. I try to take time to explain our procedures and why we are doing things and give patients realistic goals. I work very hard in the OR to pay attention to details and get a nice outcome for my patients and their families.

Helping Pain

Breast Lift

Member Response:

If you are healthy enough to undergo anesthesia and expect to live another 5-10 years, then you are not too old to get enough benefit to make the surgery worth while. It helps improve many patient's symptoms of neck and back pain but not everyone gets equal benefit.

Breast Reduction

Member Response:

Hi Brea, I would take the time to consult with another plastic surgeon or two before deciding to go forward with surgery. Many of us do very large reductions without doing nipple grafts. Breast reduction is a surgery that has a lot of different techniques to treat the same problem. You may want to get several opinions before proceeding. However if breast feeding is really important to you then you may want to wait until you’re done having children. This is because even with techniques that don’t remove the nipple your chances of successfully breast feeding are reduced to about 30% in some older studies. Best of luck on your journey.
