Dr. David Bogue is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose practice focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring, and individualized patient care. Complex breast and body procedures require careful listening, technical experience, and sound judgment. Dr. Bogue takes time to understand each patient’s priorities, explain the available options, and recommend a surgical plan that can be performed safely.

Dr. Bogue graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in computer engineering. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed six years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training at Georgetown University Hospital and served as administrative chief resident.

His experience includes cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, complex implant revision and removal, published research, and surgical leadership at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Your Consultation

Consultations are conducted personally by Dr. Bogue and are not rushed. He will listen to your concerns, review your medical and surgical history, examine the areas you want to address, and explain the options most likely to achieve your goals. Patients with breast implants should bring any available implant information, especially their implant card.

Dr. Bogue discusses the benefits, limitations, risks, expected recovery, and alternatives for each recommended procedure. The office will also review whether treatment may qualify for insurance coverage or is self-pay. Cosmetic patients receive an itemized quote outlining the anticipated surgical, anesthesia, facility, implant, and garment costs when applicable.

Cosmetic surgical consultations are $100, which is credited toward the surgical fee if the procedure is booked. Botox and filler consultations are complimentary.

Facilities

Dr. Bogue performs surgery at the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery & Laser Center (BROSLC) and Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Most outpatient cosmetic procedures are performed at BROSLC, while Boca Raton Regional Hospital is available when a hospital setting or overnight stay is appropriate.

The facility is selected according to the procedure, anticipated operative time, medical history, and individual safety considerations. Surgery is performed with qualified anesthesia professionals and appropriate postoperative monitoring.
