Emily J. Kirby, MD, is a board certified female plastic surgeon practicing in Fort Worth, TX. Meet Dr. Emily Kirby
Dr. Emily Kirby is a female plastic surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She was the first female Chief of Plastic Surgery at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, the largest hospital in Fort Worth. She provides cosmetic plastic surgery and medspa procedures, including weight loss injections, for her patients.
After graduating as a valedictorian from high school, Dr. Kirby graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Kirby was accepted early to Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree (MD). While attending Texas A&M, Dr. Kirby received several awards for research, scholarship, and peer appreciation.
Dr. Kirby was chosen to attend a competitive six-year integrated plastic surgery residency training program at the University of Kentucky, a Level 1 trauma center. There, Dr. Kirby completed her full training in aesthetic plastic and reconstructive plastic surgery. The following year, she finished additional training during a fellowship at the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Kirby successfully completed the rigorous examination process to become board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Kirby has shared her surgical skills with people in need around the world. In addition to volunteering locally, she has joined volunteer medical mission teams in Ecuador, China, and Mexico for over 15 years, donating her time and medical service.
Dr. Kirby is the founder and medical director of Kirby Plastic Surgery and Kalos Medical Spa which offers a range of non-surgical skin treatments to support her patients range of aesthetic goals. Her practice is convenient to all of the greater Forth Worth metro area. The practice is within the Shops at Clearfork, making in very convenient to the neighborhoods of southwest Fort Worth and TCU. This includes Ridgelea Hills, the Cultural District, Stockyards, River Oaks, Westover Hills, Tanglewood and Texas Christian University.
