Dr. Josh Waltzman is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who believes every patient deserves high quality, safe, and individualized care. With his years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a rooted passion for the field, Dr. Waltzman is dedicated to helping patients optimize their own personal goals with a regard to what is aesthetically natural and functional. He specializes in cosmetic surgery, with a focus on breast enhancement and mommy makeover procedures.

Meet Dr. Joshua Waltzman

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, Dr. Waltzman attended the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. While attending medical school he was accepted into one of the country’s pioneer dual degree MD/MBA programs at the Paul Merage School of Business. He was then accepted directly from medical school into a highly competitive combined Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, a program with a long tradition of training leaders in the field of Plastic Surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Waltzman decided to pursue additional subspecialty training by completing an advanced Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he fine-tuned his surgical skills in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.
Dr. Waltzman is active in influential research within the field of Plastic Surgery. He has written book chapters and has published his research in various prestigious medical journals. Dr. Waltzman has been invited to present his research to other Plastic Surgeons at numerous national and international meetings.
As a native Southern Californian, Dr. Waltzman was thrilled to return home to the California sun to open his practice in Long Beach, California. Having been trained on the West Coast, East Coast, and Midwest, he is excited to bring the best techniques from across the country back to Southern California. Dr. Waltzman is honored to be part of the Long Beach and Orange County medical communities and is committed to the well-being, comfort, and happiness of his patients.

Your Consultation

A consultation with Dr. Waltzman is really the best way to find out if you are a good candidate for a certain type of procedure.  We charge at $100 reservation fee at the time of scheduling your consultation.  This amount is then applied toward your surgery.

Dr Waltzman is amazing! He explained the procedure thoroughly and patiently answered all my questions ... I had a consultation with 4 different surgeons but only Dr Waltzman made me feel comfortable, he listens to your expectations and is passionate with his work... In 2020, I had a breast reduction (now 4 sizes smaller), done by Dr. Waltzman. I found him through my Blue Cross/Anthem app, and it was covered by my insurance :) I met with Dr. Waltzman, he was personable and professional, and was clear on describing the options and expectations during the initial consultation. On the day of the surgery, it was simple, he made me comfortable by explaining the process beforehand. The bulk of the healing took about 4-weeks. They took before and after photos, it looks amazing. I am so relieved, no more back pain, indentations in my shoulders from the the frontal weight, and I am able to exercise (and can even walk around at home with no bra). If I knew this was possible, I would have done this much earlier in my life. Thank you Dr. Waltzman, you have changed my life for the better.
have been looking into breast aug for years but have been nervous about scheduling. I heard amazing reviews about Dr. Waltzman and his staff, and was not disappointed. Underwent a breast augmentation procedure this past June. Everyone at the office is so friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Waltzman is patient and addressed all of my (many) questions thoroughly. During my recovery I received multiple wellness checks from both the office and the surgery center. While Dr. Waltzman and staff made themselves fully available for any concerns both on weekdays and weekends. I love the way everything is looking, and would highly recommend Dr. Waltzman and revisit soon! In light of current circumstances with COVID-19 everyone took additional precautions that totally alleviated any anxieties I had. The office is incredibly clean and sanitary, and the staff even goes as far as to limit the amount of visitors in the waiting room at a time. Everyone was incredibly conscientious in an effort to ensure the health of office members and patients!
