Your Consultation
A consultation with Dr. Killeen offers a structured, focused setting to understand your available surgical options. Patients leave with a clear sense of what each approach can achieve and what is realistic for their anatomy and goals.
Consultations typically last 90 minutes to two hours. After completing intake paperwork, patients meet with Dr. Killeen to review medical history, prior procedures, and current concerns.
Assessment and Planning
Dr. Killeen begins by understanding any previous surgery and how the tissue responded. In revision or reconstructive cases, the underlying diagnosis guides the plan, and she evaluates why earlier results may not have held up.
She then performs a detailed examination, assessing tissue quality, skin elasticity, structural support, and any signs of complications. Based on these findings, she explains the appropriate surgical options, the recommended operative approach, expected recovery, and what a stable long‑term result should look like.
Clinical photographs are taken for planning and documentation and become part of the medical record.
Coordination and Next Steps
After meeting with Dr. Killeen, patients speak with a Patient Care Coordinator to review scheduling, postoperative care, and a written cost estimate covering surgical, facility, and anesthesia fees. Patients are encouraged to take this information home and consider it carefully.
