After completing her training, Dr. Copeland-Halperin joined her mother, Dr. Michelle Copeland, in practice as one of very few mother-daughter plastic surgery duos in the nation.

Your Consultation

When it comes to plastic surgery, every person has different hopes, expectations, and fears. And so every patient requires a personal consultation.
We will begin by talking to you about your goals—why you’re considering a procedure and what kind of options you have, as well as what sort of outcome you should expect. Using state-of-the-art digital imaging, we’ll help you visualize how you might be able to change your looks.  We will discuss your treatment options, so you can make an informed choice, and we will develop a treatment plan together. If additional discussion would be helpful to you, we encourage you to have a second consultation, which may include family members or significant others.
Cosmetic surgery is about feeling good about yourself, and the decision to have a cosmetic procedure is as much an emotional one as it is physical. With our help, you can be sure you’ll make a decision you’ll feel good about on all levels.

Facilities

Dr. Copeland-Halperin performs most surgical procedures in our private, state-of-the-art surgical facility located within their Fifth Avenue office. Our surgical facility meets New York State registration requirements and is accredited by the rigorous American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) for all forms of anesthesia. Dr. Copeland-Halperin performs surgeries in our private surgical suite under local anesthetic, nitrous oxide analgesia, and intravenous (IV) sedation (“twilight” anesthesia) with IV sedation administered by board-certified anesthesiologists. IV sedation helps speed recovery after surgery compared with general anesthesia and allows patients to always breath on their own. http://https://www.drcopeland.com/about/
