Silvia Kurtovic, MD
Dr. Silvia Kurtovic is a board-certified plastic surgeon and one of the few female surgeons in Arizona who is both a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is also fellowship-trained in cosmetic surgery and microsurgical (DIEP flap) breast reconstruction. Meet Dr. Silvia Kurtovic
Dr. Kurtovic was raised in Southern California and graduated with honors from UCLA in Physiological Sciences. After earning her medical degree in New York, she undertook ten years of advanced surgical training at top institutions across North America. Her general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles was followed by her plastic surgery residency at Duke University. Thereafter, she pursued two additional fellowships in microsurgery and cosmetic surgery in Canada.
