Meet Dr. Teresa Cunningham
Dr. Teresa Cunningham is a board-certified plastic surgeon at The Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Golden, CO, known for her warm bedside manner and natural-looking results. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating with highest honors, from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse before going on to complete her medical degree magna cum laude at The Ohio State University. Her academic excellence earned her membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, along with the Outstanding Academic Merit and Excellence in General Internal Medicine awards. She completed her integrated plastic surgery residency at Wake Forest University, where she received back-to-back top marks on her in-service exams and was elected Best Resident Teacher by her department.
Dr. Cunningham has been practicing in the Denver area since 2018 and remains committed to ongoing education and refining her surgical skills. She has pursued additional training in rhinoplasty, microsurgical techniques, and craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, and has presented research at conferences including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Burn Association. Her clinical interests span the face, breast, and body, with a particular focus on mommy makeover, breast augmentation, labiaplasty, blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty.
