I’ve had what I later learned was gynecomastia since I was a teenager, and after years of considering surgery, I finally decided to move forward. After extensive research, I chose Dr. Erella at Aspira Plastic Surgery because of his credentials and the fact that he performs the procedure under local anesthesia. I’ve been fully under anesthesia before and wanted to avoid that, so this option was a huge deciding factor for me. My first consultation was actually a year before my surgery. When I returned, Dr. Erella remembered me and kindly waived the second consultation fee, which really stood out. From booking my surgery to post-op follow-ups, the communication from both Dr. Erella and the front desk staff, Tammy, was outstanding. They were patient, responsive, and made the entire process feel smooth and comfortable. Surgery day was much easier than I expected. After pre-op meds, I felt relaxed. There was one brief pinch from an injection, but after that I felt nothing — I even fell asleep during the procedure. Recovery was very manageable, with minimal discomfort (around 4/10 at most), and by the next morning I felt clear-headed and normal. I’m now about one month post-op and healing great. The results already look amazing, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. If I ever needed another procedure, I would absolutely choose Aspira again. 10/10 experience.

Choosing to have a 360 body lift was a big decision for me. I did a lot of research before moving forward, and from my first consultation I felt completely at ease. Dr Erella took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and set realistic expectations. The day of surgery and the recovery process were handled professionally and with genuine care. I always felt supported and never rushed. What stood out most was the level of attention to detail and follow up. Any concerns I had were addressed quickly, and I never felt like just another patient.

I honestly can't thank this team enough! Let me start with Dr. Erella - yes, he might come off a little cold at first, but don’t let that fool you. He’s incredibly skilled, caring, and responsive from start to finish. Every question I had (and there were a lot!) was answered quickly and thoroughly. He’s actually pretty funny too - throws in a good joke here and there when you least expect it! I originally wanted to go much bigger, but I’m so glad he didn’t just say “yes” to everything. I'm very petite (85 lbs), and he made it clear that anything beyond what he recommended just wouldn’t be safe. Looking at my results now, almost two months post-op, I couldn’t be happier. He knew exactly what would work for my frame, and I’m SO glad I trusted him. Tammy was amazing - super helpful, responsive, and such a calming presence. I went back and forth a few times, even up to the last minute, thinking I might back out. Tammy was there every step of the way, answering questions, calming my nerves, and encouraging me in the kindest way. The surgery center staff was also phenomenal. The nurses and anesthesiologist were so comforting. I even tried to walk out of the surgery room last minute (lol), but they gently convinced me to stay and made me feel completely safe and cared for. Christine was another gem - she works there and has had the same procedure done herself a couple weeks before me. She was so sweet, supportive, and full of helpful info from her own experience. I really appreciated her insight and honesty! Before finding Dr. Erella, I went to a few other places where they just nodded and said, “Sure, we’ll go as big as you want!” - without any real consideration for my health or proportions. It felt like they just wanted my money. Dr. Erella was the exact opposite. He genuinely cared about what was best for me, and now I see why he stood firm on his recommendation. If you’re looking for a team that’s not only highly skilled but also supportive, honest, and genuinely caring - this is it. I couldn’t have chosen a better team! Will definitely come back to him if I ever need anything else, and will forever recommend him to friends and family!

Absolutely 💯 % REAL he listens addresses your concerns and asks detailed in depth questions regarding medical history, confirms medical records and explains each step in detail for my particular situation. Did not try to sell me on any other areas. He will address what is Most Important to you. He made me feel at ease and gave me peace of mind. Kind, courteous professional, one on one personal service. The ladies were also very kind and seem like they genuinely care.

I had a great consultation with Dr Erella and his staff. I was made to feel comfortable. All of my questions were answered and the staff worked quickly to follow up with our next steps. Fast forward to surgery day! Surgery went well. During the evening my kids noticed the bulb to my drain was not filling. My kids called the doctor’s office and were able to get a hold of someone to assist with instructions on how to get the drain to work. I was so relieved that after hours they were there for me. They asked me to come in the next day just to be sure it was working well. Fast forward to 12 weeks post surgery and I am beyond happy with my results. My before and after pictures blow my mind. I have other problem areas that I may want to address in the future. If I do, I will definitely return to Dr Erella.
