He also spent more than two decades as Chief of Plastic Surgery Service at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where he provided reconstructive and plastic surgery care to thousands of military veterans. That experience — operating across the full spectrum of plastic surgery in high-stakes environments — informs the skill and thoughtfulness he brings to every patient today.
