Known as The Mommy Makeover Specialist, Alain Polynice, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon whose practice is focused on cosmetic surgery of the breast and body with particular expertise in ‘Mommy-Makeovers’ and body sculpting. He trained at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic as well as with leaders in the field throughout Australia, Europe, Asia, and South America. This has allowed him to develop a global sense of beauty and a customized approach to every patient. Fluent in 4 languages and a licensed private pilot, Dr. Polynice combines international training with meticulous attention to detail to provide outstanding care to his patients in Santa Barbara and Montecito.

Dr. Poly is the best! Aging has really made me hate my jawline/neck. I’ve had no definition from my jawline to where my neck starts. I’ve had other surgeons tell me I would need an extensive surgery which involved going under generally anesthesia and needing my neck muscles tightened etc (I wasn’t ready for a surgery like that)…I was so grateful I met Dr. Poly. He did exactly what I was looking for with a simple office procedure under local anesthesia which included lipo under my chin and jawline with renuvion skin tightening. I was looking to get my 12yr breast implants removed and after several consultations with different surgeons, Dr Poly was recommended to me by a nurse . His office made me feel so comfortable, especially Carly she’s amazing ! Dr Poly not only noticed I had ruptured an implant (which the other doctors did not catch) but already had a game plan for removing my implants and giving me a lift, and there was no need to put in new implants because I had so much of my own tissue. I booked surgery shortly after , every step was easy and well communicated by Carly & Dr Poly. His surgery facility was clean and private and surgical staff so friendly and supportive. My surgery went perfectly , and had no recovery issues and my results are AMAZING. I’m so happy with my new home grown breast and am able to wear clothes I wasn’t able to for a decade. And he literally upgraded my nipples to a petite and more feminine size and shape when they used to be like 2 huge disc down to almost my belly button. Thank you Dr Poly & Carly for a positive experience start to finish, and Dr P for these beautiful breasts I’m no longer self conscious about or uncomfortable in my body. 10/10
Dr. Polynice is somehow Montecito’s best kept secret. I don’t know how — because he is hands down the best at sculpting, shaping and achieving a natural look. I couldn’t be happier with my new body! His team is also supportive and super helpful and knowledgeable!

Dr. Polynice did my breast implants this year. They look EXCELLENT! At no time did I feel pressured, everyone was very professional and gave me great advice on the size, which is perfect for my body. Very impressed by this whole office and had great help and support also from Carly. My healing was very fast and I look and feel great, as though I’ve had this size of breasts my whole life. They look completely natural - but fantastic. I will go to Dr. Polynice for any work!
