My goal is to provide for my patients technically expert and artistically beautiful results, combined with a warm, non-intimidating surgical experience. I feel that the decision to have plastic surgery is a very personal one, and it is important that my patients are able to communicate their desires and motivations freely. I want my patients to be fully educated as to all of the options available to them so that they may confidently make the best decisions for themselves. An individualized surgical plan, combined with close personal supervision post-operatively, leads to a beautiful outcome and a happy patient.

Your Consultation

The consultation is one of the most important determinants of a successful results and a happy patient, and so we take great care to make this the most positive and productive experience possible. Every new patient is greeted by our receptionists, and basic medical information is obtained prior to meeting with Dr. Chang

During the consultation time, Dr. Chang takes great care to provide the most honest, up-to-date, and complete information for her patients'. And just as importantly, she takes the time to listen carefully to her patients' concerns so that the most suitable surgical plan can be developed. During this time, a targeted exam may be performed and appropriate pre-operative and post-operative photos will be available for perusal. There is no set time limit for the consultation, but generally it will take approximately 1 hour. Individualized care is something that Dr. Chang feels is vital to meeting her patients'

After the consultation every new patient then meets with our patient coordinator who provides additional practical information, answers logistical concerns, and addresses financial issues. Our patient coordinator then remains a primary source of guidance for our patients as they are making their preparations. If desired, our coordinator will provide follow-up phone calls to answer any additional questions which may arise. Dr. Chang is certainly also available for additional information, and second consultations are always welcomed.

Facilities

The safety of our patients is one of our highest priorities, and so we proform most of our procedures in a fully accredited hospital operating room with a licensed anesthesiologist. For select patients and type of procedures that require less than a general anesthetic, we also offer as an option our own AAAASF certified in-office operating room facility. Dr. Chang will advise you if this type of environment is appropriate for your particular procedure.
