Meet Dr. Finny George
Finny George, MD is a plastic surgeon at the renowned Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (LIPSG), which he joined in 2016. Dr. George received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University after completing a specialized accelerated program in conjunction with CUNY Sophie Davis where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He completed a General Surgery Residency at the New York Medical College in Westchester and a research fellowship at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU.Dr. George went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine before participating in a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
Dr. George specializes in complex reconstructive procedures and microvascular surgery, including facial reanimation after facial paralysis, lymph node transfer for lymphedema, and cancer reconstruction including DIEP flap breast reconstruction. He is also highly experienced in cosmetic surgery, including breast augmentation, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and facelift surgery.
Dr. George is committed to utilizing his extensive surgical skills to restore form and function to his patients. When he is not in surgery, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, exercising, and traveling.
